Events Page

Your Events page at /events is a regular Page document you can edit — not a fixed template. That means you can add an introduction, a hero image, or extra content blocks alongside the list of upcoming events.

Finding the Events page

Go to Structure → Pages and open the page titled Events. Its slug is events and it has a small lock icon because the slug is fixed — but everything else is editable.

The All Events block

Inside the Events page you'll find an All Events block. This is what actually renders the list of upcoming events, and it's where you choose how they appear.

Enabled Views

Pick which views visitors can switch between. Toggle any combination of:

  • List — a compact vertical list grouped by month. Best for sites with many events.
  • Grid — image-forward event cards in a responsive grid. Best when your events have strong imagery.
  • Calendar — a traditional month-view calendar. Best when the exact date is the primary thing visitors care about.

You can enable all three and let visitors switch, or enable just one to keep things simple.

Default View

Whichever view loads first when a visitor arrives on /events. Must be one of the views you enabled above.

Adding other content

Because the Events page is a regular page, you can add any content blocks around the All Events block — a Hero at the top, a welcome paragraph, a Location + Worship block at the bottom. See Content Blocks for the full list of what you can add.

Heads up: Don't remove the All Events block unless you're replacing it with something equivalent — the page is the only way visitors discover your events list.
