Events show up in multiple places on your site:
- Your Events page at
/events - Any Upcoming Events blocks that you've added to various pages (like your homepage)
- Filtered Events blocks
Filtering Events
You can filter the Upcoming Events block by an event Category. If you've created and categorized events in your calendar (such as 'Kid's Ministry' or 'Church Life') you can now use those categories to filter the 'Upcoming Events' block.
Go to the page you wish to edit and open the Content editor. Add an Upcoming Events block. Under the 'Filter by Category' option, you can select one of your existing Event Categories. From now on, this block will only show upcoming events from that category. This makes it great for adding to Ministry pages on your site. Show only the events that are relevant for particular groups on the pages that need them, while all of your events are still accessible from your main events page!
