If your event requires sign-up, add a Registration Link to the event. It renders as a prominent styled button on the event page — no form building required on your side.
Adding a registration link
- Open the event in Structure → Events
- Scroll to the Registration Link section
- Paste a link — any of these work:
- External URL (Planning Center registration page, Google Form, Eventbrite, etc.)
- A page on your site (useful if you've built a custom signup page)
- An uploaded file (e.g. a PDF waiver)
- Set an optional label — defaults to "Register" but you can customize (e.g. "RSVP", "Reserve a seat")
- Pick a color and style to match your site's look
How it appears
- On the single event page: a standalone call-to-action button, typically near the event title and date
- On event cards (List / Grid / Calendar views): the card still links to the event detail page first — the registration button lives on the detail page
Common patterns
- Sunday service RSVP → link to your Planning Center event
- Kids camp signup → link to a Google Form or Jotform
- Conference registration → link to an external ticketing service
- Waiver download → link to a PDF uploaded in Studio
Tip: Leave the registration link blank for events that don't need signup — the button simply won't render. No placeholder, no empty state.
