Resources are the main content items on your site — sermons, blog posts, articles, and more. Each resource has a type (like "Sermon" or "News") that determines where it appears.
Quick way: New Sermon button
The New Sermon button in the sidebar creates a new resource pre-set to the Sermon type with today's date. This is the fastest way to add a weekly sermon.
Creating a resource manually
- Go to Structure → Resources
- Click the + button
- Fill in the Title, Slug, Resource Type, and Author
- Set the Publish Date — this controls the display order
- Add content, media, and metadata
- Click Publish
Tip: The publish date is not the same as clicking "Publish." The publish date controls when the resource appears in chronological lists. Clicking Publish makes it visible on the site.
